Operation of PA, audio visual and lighting systems. Rates are £8-10/hour depending on experience. Our requirements for technical support are occasional and vary throughout the year, so we cannot guarantee any particularly frequency of work. The role would suit a local person wanting occasional additional income, or to develop skills on a small but state of the art PA system.
PA:
Operators will need to be able to manage a basic mix competently from the start, to operate cues as required by the client and have the ability to learn all aspects of a fully digital audio system.
Setup/Operation of speakers and microphones, main and foldback mixes for presenters and bands.
Setup of digital stagebox and rack connections.
Operation of 48 channel Yamaha DM1000 mixer.
Audiovisual:
Operators need to be able to connect the clients sources and cue video when required.
There are two permanent large image 1024x768 VGA projectors with connections and scalers allowing a variety of sources.
Lighting:
Operation of 48 channel lighting controller.
House and theatre light dimmmers.
Ambient lighting LED colour wash projectors.
Dance floor lights and effects.
