SMALL HALL NOTES:
* Higher price includes opening up end partition of small hall, see room info below.
Small Hall hire includes exclusive use of the crèche, kitchen, and toilets on the first floor. The suite is provided with 6 tables and 50 chairs.
Small Hall sound levels are limited to 85dBA before 9PM, and 82dBA between 9-11PM. Room speakers with built in sound limiting are available. A small stand alone PA box with radio mike and CD player is available. External PA may not be brought in, except childrens’ party entertainer amplifiers (no more than 100 Watts).
Small Hall evening community slots (Mon to Weds) are for activities / meetings not for parties. Quiet music (82 dBA) can be played, room speakers with built in sound limiter is available. No cooking, cold food only. Parties / meetings can be booked on Thursday to Saturday, if the catering and sound restrictions are suitable.
The Small Hall is not suitable for function catering due having a carpeted floor, and limited kitchen. Generally cold food, or small amounts of food which can be reheated in the microwave or small oven, are suitable. Unsuitable for feeding children (the hard floored childrens’ room can be used), sticky or sloppy food, pans which need heating on a hob, or catering burners. Catering needing those items can be booked into the main hall.
Our community letting rates are kept low wherever possible by allowing users to provide their own setup and cleaning. Please respect this by taking the time to leave the rooms as you would expect to find them. We will provide tables and chairs in the suite for you to place as you wish. All cleaning materials are provided. You will be asked to clean all surfaces and equipment you use, to change bin bags, and to hoover / mop up any mess on the floors, as the next user may be coming in before our cleaner.
